I am Sick of Being Sick!

I am still sick. I am not sure if it is still or again actually...but I know I have been sick most of January. I really think I have bronchitis at this point. If I am not better by Monday I am gonna force myself to go to the doctor. I would hate to let it go and it be much much worse.

I am DONE looking for a new house or land or whatever! I am going to be happy where we are and just focus on that for the next year. I am making myself crazy trying to figure out what we are doing. So, we are just gonna go to the new school next year and decide in a year or so what we want to do.

Conner did so good at his basketball game today. He made three baskets and played great defense. He was in the zone too. It was like watching a different kid out there. We were so proud! He starts baseball practice next week. Games don't start until March. I am glad because we still aren't done with basketball. Carson wants to play Tball this season so bad. I am still trying to decide if I can handle all 3 in an activity or not.

Awake way too early.

Boomer woke me up needing to go outside at 4:30 this morning and for whatever reason I never could go back to sleep. So, here I am at 6 am drinking coffee and blogging.I keep hearing cars go crunching by on the ice outside. I guess everyone has decided to go back to work today after being out for the past 2 days. We still don't have school today though. They will for sure go back tomorrow (Friday) which means they went to school 1 and 1/2 days this week. I wonder when they will have to make it up.
I think my mind just won't relax. I am just swirling with thoughts and ideas. I wish I could just stop and be happy and content with what we have. I hate that about myself. I am constantly thinking we need a bigger house or a newer car. I just need to realize how blessed we are to have been able to move back closer to family and that we are in a great school district for our kids and that we are making some fabulous friends and have joined a great church. We have each other and that is all that matters. The rest is just fluff, icing or extra sugar. I know all of this deep down, I do. I just have to take 2 steps backwards sometimes to remember.
I got some cute pictures of the kids yesterday in the snow.

Snow Day 3

We just got the call that there will be no school tomorrow either. This will be the third day. The kids are excited but somewhat bored at this point. They did get to play in the snow a little today. Kylee is at practice tonight which she so badly needed to burn of energy. Stay safe everyone.

Snow Day 2

Yesterday we got ice and then sleet and then snow all day long....oh ya and no school. So, of course there is no school today either. It is 8 degrees outside right now! I promised that the kids could play in it so it better warm up a little. I will post pictures later. We are lucky and still have power. Tahlequah was without power all day yesterday and may still be. I am SO glad we have power since school is out. I don't know what people did in the winter before power came along. Hibernate? Have a good day.

Added Some Songs For The Boys

Being a Mom of 3 I do tend to listen to what they want to listen to...like Radio Disney...and I must say the music is quite catching. Anyway, I added some of the boys favorite songs to my playlist from three disney movies. Enjoy.

A Day in The Life Of Carrie...

I woke up at 6 via the alarm and hit snooze. This is so unlike me. I normally wake up a few minutes to an hour before my alarm in anticipation of the dreadful sound and try to catch it so I don't have to hear it longer than a milisecond. Oh trust me, I know, I am weird. Many people don't understand but, there are few "special" people out there that do the same thing...I am sure of it. Okay, back on track here.... I woke up slowly and got some coffee going. The plan was to get a shower before Carson got up and then get the kids ready and go to antler alert for Kylee to receive her first mini master button for reading 5 classic novels...then rush to take Carson to school and then go grocery shopping and then go pick Carson back up at 12. Well, nothing ever works that simply. Conner decides to tell me he is way too sick for school today...again. He missed yesterday. So, I tell him he has to go back to bed and is going to stay in bed ALL day to rest so he won't be sick this weekend. I went to tell LeeJay one of us has to stay home with him while the other goes to see Kylee. He says he will stay. I am now rushing around to get ready. I hear Conner in the bathroom. He decided to get ready for school after all...just so he wouldn't have to stay in bed all day. We all head off to Antler Alert which took even longer because Kylee also got recognized by the principal for making straight A's this term. So, needless to say I wasn't out in time to get carson to school. So, I decided to keep him with me and go to the store. We are picking out produce and LeeJay called to say his battery is dead on his car. We leave are buggy and come home. By the time we get here I realize I have forgotten to pack Conner his lunch and we need to take him something. Carson and i go eat with Conner and then come home and take a NAP. After awakening ( Carson slept for another hour or so) I clean out the minivan and pack a bag for Kylee's cheer practice and pack snacks for Kylee, Madison, Alley Conner and Carson. It is my turn to drive the girls to practice. They have to be there at 4 and school gets out at 3:45. I am the 4th car in line at carpool, just to make sure we get out of the parking lot quick...too bad I got behind a school bus dropping off kids on the way to the gym. We were about 10 minutes late. I decide to go to the store, Finally made it back. I of course have Carson and Conner in tow who ask for every stinkin' piece of junk food on every isle. You know the Mom that looks completely frazzled and out of her mind in the check out line...well, that was so me today at 4:30. Then we head back to pick the girls up at 5:15...when I talk to My dear wonderful husband. He is on his way home.I ask him to please go pick the girls up and take them home because I now have the daunting task of unloading and putting up groceries and then fixing dinner. Now, I am relaxing on the computer while the kids play Wii. That is a typical day in the life of Carrie..crazy I know. Now I know why most women Want to go back to work...it isn't as hectic.

We Are All Sick.

Kylee stayed home sick yesterday with a sore throat and tummy ache and headache. By last night Conner had all the symptoms as did LeeJay. Carson and I both have BAD headaches this morning. Fun Fun.
